Petai Bean ( Bitter Bean ) Green Chilli Sauce


In Indonesia, petai bean is very popular in the highlands of Java, Sumatra, especially among Batak, Minangkabau and many other people in different cultures of the island. Petai bean has earned its nickname 'stink bean' because its strong smell is very pervasive. It lingers in the mouth and body. Like asparagus, it contains certain amino acids that give a strong smell to one's urine, an effect that can be noticed up to two days after consumption. 

Ingredients :

1/4kg beef / salted anchovies
20 seeds fried petai beans split two half-cooked
1 / 4 liter of cooking oil
1 liter of water





Spices :

1 oz green chilies
5 grains of red onion
3 cloves garlic
5 green tomato seeds cerry
lemon juice to taste

How to make :
  1. Boil the meat until tender lift drain, then cut according to taste.
  2. Fry the meat should not be too dry.
  3. Then stir fry all the spices add the lemon juice, the last input beef and petai beans.
